The draw is done. Qualifying for the Astra Coffee & More Open 2026 begins on Sunday 23 August at 10:00 on the AZS courts in Pozna\u0144 \u2013 the first matches of the 27th International Greater Poland Tennis Championships.<\/p>\n
The qualifying draw features\u00a048 players from 16 countries<\/strong>, including\u00a027 Poles<\/strong>. The competition runs over three rounds and\u00a0eight qualifiers<\/strong>reach the main draw. With the field not full, sixteen players start in the second round.<\/p>\n The highest-ranked player in qualifying is\u00a0Jasza Szajrych<\/strong>, the world number 1400 in the ATP ranking. Also worth watching are Malaysia's\u00a0Darrshan Suresh<\/strong>, ranked 44th on the ITF list, and the American\u00a0Michael Savano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Alongside the Poles, qualifying features players from Australia, Belarus, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Malaysia, Peru, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.<\/p>\n The organisers awarded qualifying wild cards to seven players:\u00a0Adam D\u0105browski<\/strong>,\u00a0Maksymilian Doma\u0144ski<\/strong>,\u00a0Wojciech Marek<\/strong>,\u00a0Karol Romer<\/strong>,\u00a0Jan Werbli\u0144ski<\/strong>, as well as Peru's\u00a0Marco Antonio Inga Huauyi<\/strong>\u00a0and Australia's\u00a0Norbert Zieli\u0144ski<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In Sunday's session, on court one, plays\u00a0Miko\u0142aj Borkowski<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the player with the longest span of appearances in the tournament's history. He first came to Pozna\u0144 in 2005 and this is his tenth appearance. He was given his place in qualifying after withdrawals from the entry list. His opponent will be\u00a0Kevin Pabisiak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The first day features\u00a016 first-round matches<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 four on each of the four courts. Play starts at 10:00; the following matches begin immediately after the preceding ones, except for those with a stated time.<\/p>\n Qualifying runs until Monday.
