The second round of the 26th International Greater Poland Tennis Championships – Astra Coffee & More Open 2025 produced the eight quarter-finalists, three of them Poles: Maks Kaśnikowski, Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutyński and Karol Filar. The matches were played in the heat, and two of the eight ended in retirement.
Singles second round

- Matthew William Donald (Czech Republic) – Alec Beckley (South Africa, No. 6) 6-2 1-0 ret.
- Corentin Denolly (France, No. 2) – Carles Hernandez (Spain) 6-3 6-3
Tom Zeuch held out longest. The German came into the draw as a lucky loser from qualifying, won his first-round match, and in the second took Kaśnikowski to a third-set tie-break, losing it only 8-10. The fourth-seeded Pole saved match points in that finish.
Alan Bojarski, one of eight qualifiers in the draw, made life difficult for the tournament's top seed. Erhard won the first set 6-3, but had to settle the second in a tie-break.
Two matches ended early. Jasza Szajrych retired at 2-5 in the third set against Kivattsev, and the sixth seed Alec Beckley withdrew in the second set against Matthew William Donald. The Czech, world No. 691, had knocked out his first seeded player of the tournament.
Doubles quarter-finals

Both seeded pairs went out in the doubles quarter-finals. The top seeds Beckley and Mashtakov were beaten in a match tie-break by Hsu and Ozolins, and the second seeds Hrazdil and Szajrych conceded their match after a retirement.

The singles quarter-finals are scheduled for Friday, with play starting at 10:00. Admission to the AZS Poznań courts is free.
